Samuel Baumer, Esq., aka, Abogado Samuel, a third generation Angelino,  is a licensed attorney with a social justice focus. Sam holds two degrees in Social Justice: a BA from the University of the Pacific for International Relations, Spanish, and Literature and a Masters Degree in Social Justice in Intercultural Relations from SIT Graduate Institute of Vermont. Sam received his law degree from Thurgood Marshall School of Law and is licensed in California, Texas and Massachusetts. Sam provides of counsel assistance to Chazan Family Law for clients who have issues related to immigration.

Alana T. Chazan

Alana Chazan, Esq. is a family law attorney and mediator and the founding attorney of Chazan Family Law, P.C. In 2015, Ms. Chazan was named one of the Best LGBT Lawyers Under 40 by the National LGBT Bar Association . Ms. Chazan is a vetted member of the Family Law Institute of the National LGBT Bar Association and the National Center for Lesbian Rights. . Ms. Chazan previously worked as a Family Law Attorney with Baumer & Chazan Law Group, LLP, where she successfully represented clients in numerous cases, including an unprecedented jury trial in a same-sex Parentage case, as well as a high-profile transgender marriage validity case. Prior to entering private practice, Ms. Chazan was an Equal Justice Works Fellow, who spent three years developing family law, domestic violence and immigration legal services for low-income gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender survivors of domestic violence at the Los Angeles LGBT Center and Bay Area Legal Aid. Ms. Chazan is a California certified domestic violence advocate. Ms. Chazan's writings on sexuality and the law have been published in the Texas Journal of Women and the Law and in the New York City Law Review.
